Keeping in touch with families, providing timely information and sharing news, enables families to feel part of our school community whilst supporting organisation. We communicate with families via email, and so it is essential that email addresses are kept up to date. If you change your email address, please inform the School Office.
We may need to contact families by telephone, so providing work, mobile and emergency contact details is important.
Families can expect newsletters, requests or small reminders sent by email, and calls regarding your child’s absence from school, or to inform you that they feel unwell – this is typical communication.
We hold parent meetings twice each year – the first one in person and the second virtually. Families are also invited into school at the end of the Autumn and Spring Terms to see pupils work and crafts and during the Summer Term, to see pupil performances.
Our school uses an automatic communication system that allows parents to contact us quickly and directly, to keep the school informed of general family information eg ill health, late arrivals etc.
You would just text this number normally just like texting friends and family, please confirm your child’s full name and class when texting the school.
