Keeping in touch with school

Our staff are available each morning and at the end of the school day to have quick chats with parents. If you require a longer meeting, please talk to the teacher and they will arrange this with you. Alternatively, you can write a short message in the planner for the teacher’s attention.

If you are unable to attend school for drop off or pick up, please email the school, indicating FAO and the class teacher’s name and this will be forwarded on for the class teacher to respond.

Parents are welcome to email the SENCO – or the Principal, Linda Collier  –

For pastoral or safeguarding support, please contact Mrs Mitchinson –

Keeping in touch with families

Providing timely information and sharing news, enables families to feel part of our school community whilst supporting organisation. We communicate with families via email, and so it is essential that email addresses are kept up to date. If you change your email address, please inform the School Office.

We may need to contact families by telephone, so providing work, mobile and emergency contact details is important.

Families can expect newsletters, requests or small reminders sent by email, and calls regarding your child’s absence from school, or to inform you that they feel unwell – this is typical communication.

We hold parent meetings twice each year – the first one in person and the second virtually. Families are also invited into school at the end of the Autumn and Spring Terms to see pupils work and crafts and during the Summer Term, to see pupil performances.
