Arriving at school
All children line up outside their external classroom door. Year 3 pupils line up outside the Upper School hall doors. Staff will come out to meet children before school begins. This allows parents to have a ‘quick word’ with their child’s class teacher. The end of the day is the best time to speak to members of staff. Any urgent messages may be passed on in the morning, but we ask that other discussions occur at the end of the day. Please be aware that staff are unable to meet on Wednesday evenings due to staff training.

Arriving late
The school has clear boundary fences and gates that provide a safe space for our children to play and learn. At 9.00am each morning,  school gates accessing the playground are closed and locked. Pupils arriving after this time will need to enter the school building by the back door adjoining the visitors entrance and the staff car park.
Parents collecting pupils from school for appointments should also enter school by the visitors entrance. In this way, access to the classrooms and the playground is secure during the day.
All pupils must be ‘signed in’ if they are late and also ‘signed out’, if they are leaving early.
The Community Centre gate will open from 11.40am until 12.25pm to enable  parents to collect children attending Nursery and also drop children off for the afternoon session.
When collecting at the end of the day – the Community Centre gate near Nursery will open at 2.55pm and the Main gate at 3.00pm.

For pupils’ safety, all parents and visitors must report to the Main Office via the visitor entrance before entering the building. Parents must not come beyond the inner reception doors without permission.
